(Re-Upload) By Terry…

IMAG2891

By Terry is another luxury brand that I’ve been wanting to try out for the longest time now. I could not however, bring myself to pay full price for it. Why though? I’ve paid higher prices for Burberry, Armani, Guerlain and Le Metier de Beaute, so what was the hitch here? I dunno, just looking at the products made me feel as if they were incredibly over priced, I just had a feeling I suppose.

SpaceNK had a massive sale a while back, and I was able to get the Cover Expert foundation which normally costs $66 for only $33. I also picked up two of the Terrybly Velvet Rouge liquid lipsticks at full price of $46.50 each. The lipsticks and the Terrybly Densiliss Blush were the things that I’d wanted to try, but I decided to hold off on the blush until I checked out these other things, because at $72, it needed to be perfect.

(Re-Upload) By Terry’s Impossibly Beautiful Sun Designer Palette.

IMAG3567

I told you guys that I wasn’t giving up on the By Terry Brand, I’m sorry it’s just too pretty. This was the palette that I’d mentioned I was waiting to get. I was waiting because this sucker is expensive, $82. Yeah. The is part of the Sun & Cruise Spring/Summer (2016) line that also includes sheer plumping balm lipsticks in some sexy colours and a $116 bronzer serum thingy that briefly made me lose my mind and consider making it mine.

You can get this at SpaceNK for sure that I know of, and I’m assuming that it’s also going to be available at Barney’s, Bergdorf’s, Neiman’s and Saks. I waited and got mine from Beautylish because I have a very good relationship with them, and they rock. Someone is always available for a consult if you need it for whatever reason, from skin care to makeup struggles. Beautylish is like having your own personal makeup and skin care shopper, and all you have to pay for is the products.

(REUPLOAD) The Year in Makeup Favourites 2016.

Happy freaking new year ya’ll!! I promise in 2017, I’m gonna get my blogging life together. Maybe. Ok, probably not but I’m gonna try real hard. This year was just a complete a-hole that you wanted to throat punch constantly, and it ended with George Michael dying on frikkin CHRISTMAS DAY!!! Like, what the actual F%$K 2016?!

I drove to my sisters house jamming to Last Christmas (best Christmas song EVER), and came home to Twitter on fire. I always snicker when I hear people upset about celebrities that die, like what the hell, do you even know them? Can I just say though?

This one hurt, really badly. I’m sure he’d never remember me, but not only have I been absolutely in love with George Michael since I was ten, but I’ve met him a few times when I was working for a magazine and wound up repeatedly at NYFW much to my dismay.

He was friends with the original super models and a slew of the designers so he could usually be seen in the tents in the early 90’s. Talk about a ridiculously kind, humble, personable individual that always seemed slightly uncomfortable with the adulation he received. Beyond that, there was just some indefinable quality about his music, post Faith after he found his own voice, that’s simultaneously uplifting and despairing. Listen Without Prejudice Vol. I is still my favourite album. So really, is anyone reealllyy sad to see 2016 go?
