Dupe Alert!! Drugstore Dupes for High End Skin Care (L’Oreal vs…L’Oreal?)

IMAG7959

Hey guys, hope that you enjoy the video today. Please understand that I’m not in fact endorsing three out of the four products and in fact since the Genifique, Energie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser and Hydra Nutrition all have large quantities of fragrance in them, I would in fact recommend that you stay away from them because it’s not good for the skin. Although I can’t speak for anyone else, those three all made me break out to one degree or another, so sensitive skin beware.

That being said, if you already use either of the two high end products to good results, you’re now aware of two dupes that work just as well. If you’ve been wanting to try either and my warnings haven’t deterred you? Here ya go!

Experimenting With The Drugstore: Beauty Treats (Picture Heavy and Detailed).

IMAG3511_1

I can’t remember who exactly it was that I heard raving about this brand, but I was intrigued. Since I don’t use a lot of American drugstore brands  beyond the ones that are main stream and super popular, me not having heard of something is not really a surprise. When I went to check this brand out, I quickly learned that it has something of a cult following owing not only to it’s very inexpensive price points, but also to it’s highly pigmented, very functional products. Once again, I got almost every thing here from BeautyJoint. I can’t remember if I told you guys last post or not, but BeautyJoint’s shipping is ridiculous (starts at $14) for anything under $70, which is when they start offering free shipping, and so it just made sense for me to order the stuff that I wanted here even though I didn’t get everything that I wanted.

Dupe Alert! Makeup Revolution’s New Ultra Strobing Cream & Blur Primer…So Worth It!

IMAG0170

So loooong after I purchased these, I realised something. The Blur Primer is a dupe for either the YSl Touche Eclat Blur Primer which is $52 or the Guerlain L’Or Pure Radiance Primer which is $74. And although both rock, this is just as good for a whole lot less, in truth it’s closer in consistency and performance to the YSl and I actually prefer this one, YSL primers and I don’t seem to mesh well. Since I have to re-upload my blog life, I thought I’d just  update this post to reflect that, also when I purchased this it was only available on the MUR website, it’s now available at Ulta.com. You’re welcome and enjoy.

These were a total whim, I mean I got them because they were new, and I wasn’t really sure what a strobing cream was all about and I had to know, just had to. The primer I got because at that particular time I hated all of the ones I had, it bes like that sometimes.

NEW! Ulta Collection Complexion Products.

IMAG6622_1

I’ve been trying to get this post done forever, but I keep having to put out fires which sucks because this is a good one. I’d gotten these when I did the Ulta haul and picked up the highlighters a few months back, and like the highlighters the items I’m reviewing today are mostly on the bomb side.

Dupe Alert! L’Oreal Liquid Lumi Highlighter vs. Becca Liquid Shimmering Skin Perfectors.

IMAG4223_1

These were part of my birthday haul from Ulta, I wound up getting both because at the time Ulta was doing their buy one get one 50% off on most drugstore lines. Like I said I mostly hauled drugstore stuff cause for some reason that’s what I was in the mood for this year. The highlighters are bomb though, so I’m really glad I got them.
