IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Glow Blushing Bronzer.

IMAG0243_1

I like the idea of IT Cosmetics. The reality is often something else though for a couple of reasons. If you follow Jackie Aina on YouTube, she details how the foundations are too light for her. The one foundation she had been able to use, left her looking corpsey. I can use the last shade in most of their lines, Rich, pretty well. However I do get the grey cast that she talks about as well. The undertones on their foundation products for deeper complexions are…lacking.

Becca x Chrissy Teigen Face Glow Palette.

IMAG0104

I was so excited when I heard that this palette was gonna be a thing. I mean, a brand that I appreciate and Chrissy Teigen team up to create a palette? Yeah, I’m there. Also, if you’re not following her on Twitter or Snapchat or Instagram, then I don’t know what to tell you about your life, cause she is hilarious!

I heard about the palette about two weeks before it dropped, and I was able to get it from Sephora a few days before it officially launched as an app exclusive offering. As with any highly anticipated launch there were all sorts of problems happening in the background. Pre-launch orders got cancelled before they shipped, cause apparently Lazership was breaking everything. Luckily mine came intact, albeit way later than a usual Sephora shipment.

Tarte LE Tarteist Blush Palette.

IMAG3704

I got this as part of my Ulta Platinum Haul, this isn’t going to be an overly long post as there isn’t a whole lot to say beyond ranting and screaming. I bought, I saw, I was epically disappointed.

This is one of the latest of the Tarteist collection, I love Tarte blushes so I jumped on the chance to get four of them in one slim palette for only $38, plus with points and a 20% off coupon, my entire order was less than $10 more than the price of this palette. I thought I’d made out like a bandit. Until I had the palette in hand.

Experimenting With The Drugstore: Beauty Treats (Picture Heavy and Detailed).

IMAG3511_1

I can’t remember who exactly it was that I heard raving about this brand, but I was intrigued. Since I don’t use a lot of American drugstore brands  beyond the ones that are main stream and super popular, me not having heard of something is not really a surprise. When I went to check this brand out, I quickly learned that it has something of a cult following owing not only to it’s very inexpensive price points, but also to it’s highly pigmented, very functional products. Once again, I got almost every thing here from BeautyJoint. I can’t remember if I told you guys last post or not, but BeautyJoint’s shipping is ridiculous (starts at $14) for anything under $70, which is when they start offering free shipping, and so it just made sense for me to order the stuff that I wanted here even though I didn’t get everything that I wanted.

Holiday 2016: Smashbox Light It UP L.A. Lights Palette

IMAG4985_2

Oh my god guys! I have such a backlog of products to review for you all. Three weeks ago my work schedule changed and I haven’t been able to write anything since then. Luckily, I was still taking pictures but not writing anything new, so I still have a lot of my vacation haul left to write about, plus a bunch of holiday stuff too. I’m gonna alternate them and maybe by December we can get through all of it, whaddya think? No? Probably not. By the way? If this doesn’t hit the airwaves till after 1? It’s cause I’m writing the night before and I’m hella sleepy so grammatical mistakes abound. And will need to be corrected.

This Is Probably The Best Blush Palette You’ll Ever Spend Money On

IMAG5891_1

I’ve had this palette for over a month now and I don’t think that I’ve used anything else since. For one thing the amount of shades that you get, and the differences between them, almost ensures that you’ll never have to look elsewhere.

Of course I’m talking about the Nars Unfiltered Blush Palette, in particular Unfiltered 1, the deeper, darker palette that everyone lost their damn minds over. There are two palettes, Unfiltered 1 is a mix of reds, plums, deep pinks as well as highlighters and a blush that doubles well as a blush topper. You get some mattes and some shimmer shades that aren’t too overwhelming, and for $60, you get six large pans that are almost the same size as a full sized Nars blush that you’ll have no trouble dipping a big fluffy brush into.
